Signed Mounted
I got a fix it ticket for not having a front plate mounted. What should I do next?
This used car didn’t have front plate when I bought it a few years ago. Today, I’ve got the fix-it ticket for not having the front plate mounted. I’m requested to fix it before 3/18. The police officer told me there is no penalty, but $10 for adm. fee. Where can I get the front plate? Whether I have to go back to the police department to have my ticket signed off? Can anyone tell me what to do step by step? Thanks!

Once you get it fixed the officer will verify that it was fixed and then you should just have to have him sign off on it and pay your $10 fee. If your state requires you to have a license plate in front and back of your car you should be able to get a bracket at a dealer or local junkyard, if not then the best you could do is use screws and mount it onto the front bumper that way, its not the most ideal way but it should work.
