Photo Montage

Does anyone know a free program I could use to make a photo montage with music?

I am making a dvd for my mom with little movie clips of my 9 month old becacuse she doesn’t get to see him often since she lives about 90 minutes away. I wanted to also include a photo montage of pictures with some music in the background. I’m looking for something that’s easy to use and can be burned onto a dvd. I use Sonic if that matters.
