I edited an jpg image in photoshop elements and now I want to save it so I can share it on my photo web page(but I want my image to appear on the internet, the way my final edited image looks).Should I save it as a jpg again or a PSD? what’s the best format to put my pictures.
what does PSD format really do?
If I do put it as a PSD, how would I be able to then change it to a jpg?
can some one eplain the use of these formats:
*photoshop project format (PSE)
*photoshop EPS(EPS)
*photoshop PDF(PDF)
&
*photoshop raw(RAW)

Every time you open a jpg and save it again, it compresses the image. Do that often enough, and you’ll notice a difference. Keep doing it, and in time you’ll pretty much totally destroy it (but that takes a long time).
Some formats are called “lossless” because they keep the same information even when you DO keep saving them. PSD is one of those formats.
Ideally, you should have a lossless version of your photos as a back up.
Now save it again as a jpg and make that your “play copy”.
