5. The city is home to a varierty of sports teams and actually has a team in all 8 of the US major sports leagues. These include the Denver Broncos, the Colorado Avalanche and the Colorado Rapids.
6. Denver is a great location for cyclists. Most of its streets have cycle lanes and there are over 850 miles of paved, off road bike paths in the city’s parks and along bodies of water like Cherry Creek.
7. Denver has fantastic transport links. It’s served by the interstate freeways of I-25 and I-70 and the Regional Transportation District provides the city with thousands of buses everyday. Amtrak also has a railway system in the city and Denver International Airport saves as the main airport for the area.
