Auto Signed
I am unable to cancel my auto sign in. I never signed up for that, never checked the box but somehow have it.?
I never checked the box for auto sign in. I have tried most everything but cannot get rid of auto sign in. It just suddenly appeared one day. Now, others cannot sign in either. I have changed my password and it still appears. I thought possibly I somehow am on messenger which I did not sign up for and tried to delete that also and cannot. Please help.
Start off with checking your Preferences. Go to main Messenger Menu, then Preferences, then General Section. Top choice in that section is to UNCHECK “Automatically sign into YM”.
Next, open MSCONFIG by going to Start Button, then Run, type in MSCONFIG and click OK. Then on the Startup tab, UNCHECK YahooMessenger.exe. Click Apply and OK out… or you can also check for other things that are automatically starting up that you do not want or need. Also check the Services Tab, put a check mark in “Hide Microsoft Services” then uncheck YahooMessenger if it’s checked in their also.
