Can the Colts cornerbacks Hayden and Jackson be in the top 15 corners this year?
Hayden ran Grossmans interception for a TD in the Superbowl. and Jackson intercepted Brady in the AFC championship game to land them in the superbowl.
i just cant wait to see these guys wanted to get an opinion from people. and wondering if these 2 clutch plays are a sign of things to come?
I have to be honest here…the two corners…probably wont be top 15…BUT, that doesn’t mean they wont be effective. And I have two names that can offer reasons why….Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis….They will pressure the QBs so much, so fast, that the two Colts CBs might appear better than they may be at times…but they will give up a lot of big plays and a lot of yards to elite receivers…like if they tried to defend Harrison and Wayne for example.
Their CBs will do okay…okay..not great…But Marlin Jackson has some potential to be good at times….And lucky for them!!! THEY PLAY THE SAINTS IN THE 1ST GAME. Look, if Jackson and Hayden can not let any of the Saints receivers get 100 yards, I’ll hand it to them..they’ll be pretty good this year…but that’s the test….The only better test for them would be covering the more elite receivers in a real game…something the Saints don’t really have…But they do have that pass offense and all around offense…Good luck…
